On republic day, we made pizza. Earlier on 23rd Jan, we baked a vegan vanilla cake

Home-made Pizza
We have decided to have some home made pizza and bread which coincides with Modiji telling people to use less oil.
As middle aged people, we really don’t have the luxury to use much oil. I am just wondering can vegetarians survive without oil? Nothing will taste good without oil and spices particularly vegetables.
With home made pizza we had omlette cooked in butter. Having been habituated to eat fish and chicken since childhood, no food tastes as good as fish and chicken. The home made chutney also needs oil to make it taste great to eat with plain rice.

Modiji’s Akashvani
Recently our Prime Minister saud that we should use less oil. With the rising prices over the last few years, households are consuming less oil.
In fact, there are homes which do not consume pulses. They are consuming potatoes which just fills the stomach but does not provide nutrition to the people who do a lot of physical work.
A whole meal should contain green vegetables, butter, eggs or pulses, and some vegetables like pumpkin or carrots or peas or any other vegetables that provides other elements needed for a healthy mind and body.
Happy Republic Day!
