Western thoughts had worked towards improving people’s status but in Indian casteism is practiced to keep certain sections poor.

The oppressed people have always found ways to survive on their own. The poor live on a variety of leaves and roots but which is not available for themselves anymore because some people want to be more vegetarian than they had ever been.

A balanced meal should be a mix of vegetables and animal protein.
