Dealing with Uncertainty is a way of life nowadays. Majority of the people want security. When I eavesdrop young people talking, I feel like laughing at them. How much family upbringing matters.

Aa a young woman, I was like Ayn Rand believing and depending on my muscles more than being farsightedness.

When my mom fell ill, I realized how important social security is. Though we had insurance, we were nervous all the time about bills overshooting.

Tough times bring the real character in us and the people around. I had a tough mindset as a young woman. I never expected a government job. I was fascinated by the speed and cleanliness in corporate offices. But as I grew older I realized there was no need to hurry.

To hurry and be in a hurry all the time unfolded before me as a futile exercise. It became clear that we are catering to some one else’s greed. Let’s slow down and face uncertainty.

Let’s live, let those old values “live and let live comes back”. After a tiring day, a glass rooh afza is energizing. The bottle is an empty gin bottle and I am not aware the taste of it but I like the bottle.

As I am writing this article, my thoughts are running fast and I had failed to catch all of it. But the rooh afza has left a cooling, soothing effect upon me. To fail to appreciate little things in life means we have learnt to live and let’s live meaningfully.

What we need to understand is Uncertainty is UNKNOWN. So do not waste your time panicking over it. Write down your fears anc go to a person who has experience in solving it. If you don’t know anyone who could be of help, do a search on internet or talk to people who are ready to talk. Frame your questions and drop them as something general. So atleast you know something and leave rest to the Unknown.

Do mediation, and keep a watch. That’s it.
