If you need to make a change in your life learn cooking.

Cooking is about:

  1. learning to manage your time
  2. enhancing your senses – visual, olfactory and taste
  3. giving yourself nourishment
  4. socializing with your family and friends
  5. investing on quality diet
  6. building friendship over sharing recipes
  7. encouraging yourself to learn about various types of vegetables, fruits, nuts, dairy products, beans and spices
  8. spotting various types of utensils and crockery to build a useful kitchen enabling you to cook any kind of food

Cooking simple food can be magical too, if you can pick up fresh ingredients from the market. Good food is an investment because you know what you are eating.

Learning new methods of cooking from various parts of the world is also about travelling across continents without having to visit those nations.

Building an allpurpose is costly because nowadays we have very little space to live in. Our lives are cramped in match boxes. There is not much space in bigger cities as space is expensive.

There was a time people had lawns in their homes, then people shifted to multistoreyed apartments with servant room. Finally, the cities provide space only for the family. Shrinking space means open kitchen with no boundary wall between your dining and cooking space.

However, to make best of what we have is the point. Nowadays cookers offer multipurpose culinary activities like cookers can offer baking, frying, boiling and steaming.

I have a traditional mini kitchen. A steel pressure cooker and few casseroles. The OTG is used for baking only and kept in the living room as the kitchen is too small. However, we cook whatever we want minding out calories intake. On this friendship day wishing everyone happy cooking, baking and preparing juices, shakes, coffee and tea.
