A new year started with my spouse at home. It’s very cold today. The cold seems to be piercing through my jacket and warm pants. Was thinking of the cold in other parts of the states in India.

Delhi is a bit more colder than West Bengal except the northern districts.

I did not blog for a long time as I was busy with some other work. It is not that I could not blog. It was just that I was lazy.

I have completed 50 years of my life on this earth. I thank my ancestors for giving us a roof on our head. We never had luxuries in our life and over the years we have come to terms with simplicity.

Life is mysterious, meaningful, gross, pretty, ugly, trivial and so on. We can identify people with such adjectives.

There were days when nobody noted the ugliest but science provided the corrected procedures to make the ugly and the greedy dominate.

That’s why people with inner beauty and natural beauty are lost from the greedy and ugly Sengars, Chopras, Kapoors and the list can go on.

That’s why life was beautiful before the uglies occupied the space. The jungles are flattened.

We knew what was good and what was ugly. Now the ugly occupied the screen space, and the natural beauty loses the space amidst all the uglies clamouring to occupy the space.

Hoping 2026 will be beautiful with the natural beauty regaining it’s spot. Let the forests be saved. Let the talented be appreciated, let goodness prevail.

Instead of making ugly faces appear beautiful, people should work on their talent. That’s what makes them special and respectful. The perfect egg-chicken fried rice that my spouse produced.

My carrot cake is no match but I tried.
