Song of Bengal, a Restaurant in Puri, Orissa

There are many restaurants in Puri but if you are looking for good food in a hygienic and comfortable place at a reasonable price, you must visit Song of Bengal. It is located inside the multistoried Puri hotel near the beach.

We had Parshey Machher Jhhal (cooked in shorshe posto – mustard-poppy seeds paste) and Crabs. The Parshe machh was really a large sized one, which you rarely get to see in the local markets of Kolkata at 200 rupees.

The Jumbo sized crabs at 300 rupees made us feel a bit tipsy. Well you can say, value for money.

Those were all fresh from the oven and delicious.
