Case: Possessing Ganja
Issues: Abhay Singh, popularly known as IIT Baba was briefly detained in Jaipur after he was found in possession of ganja (marijuana).
Case: A case has also been registered against him under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
Defence: IIT Baba claimed, during questioning, that he is an Aghori baba and that he does indulge, as a custom, in the consumption of ganja.
Gravity: The cops recovered marijuana from him, though it was in a very small quantity.
