Suji ka Halwa

This is halwa or sweet porridge/pudding. Here, we have used semolina and dry fruits.

Heat the pan, add ghee to the pan and then fry the dry fruits in it. Keep the dry fruits separately.

Add green elaichi or cardamom and then when you get the aroma, add semolina to it. Add double the quantity of water as that of semolina and cook for some more time on low heat. Then add sugar to taste and a pinch of salt. Cover and cook until it gets dry.
