Sex Education Carved on Walls
A Scientific Approach to Sculptures

In Bengali novels, and films, we have often seen couples travelling to visit temples after wedding. The purpose of marriage is ofcourse procreation.
On the walls of Konark or any other ancient temples we find the site of sex education. The carvings are beautifully done by sculptors.
As scientists tell us that food and sex are basic needs of humanity, so it was quite natural for the sculptors then to depict the story of life.
For young couples, these are ofcourse books to learn from. The books in the form of stone as education was not common among masses in those days.
