Setting an Alarm Clock at 50
When I was young, I used to set my alarm clock at five in the morning and slowly I got used to it and did not need an alarm bell to wake me up. Then, I went to university, exam nightmares would wake me up and I would wake up at too early to revise the lessons.
At 50, I set an alarm in my phone to wake up at 5.30 a.m and revise my lessons for certificate courses. This time, I did not hear the alarm bell and woke up at 7.30 am when my husband’s phone rang and hurriedly prepared for the centre.
While returning from my exam center, which is far away, I sat in the train and read the messages on my phone. It showed upcoming alarm at 5.30 pm.
Moral: Don’t set alarms without your specks.
