My youngest aunt used to tell us a story when we were young about a careless foolish woman.

When you are in a hurry, you can do many crazy things. One interesting Chinese story we heard from our youngest aunt was of a fat aunt who had a bad dream about her mother dying.

She woke up and in the dark carried the wrapped baby and ran towards her mothers home. On the way she had to cross a watermelon field. She tripped in the field and her baby fell. She rose, she picked up her baby from the field and started running again. It was almost sunrise when she reached home. Her mother was brooming the portico.

In joy she cried and when her mother extended her arms to take the grandchild in her arms she realized it was a water melon. Her mother scolded her for her carelessness.

Without wasting a minute she trailed back home. In the field she found the pillow of her child. She screamed in fear as her child must be left alone unattended at home. On reaching home she was fully exhausted but she was happy to see her child sleeping unaware of her absence in the night.
