Satisfaction in Aroma and Taste takes me to a place where I get the food I want to eat. We drive some 20-30 kilometres to eat biriani.
The aroma of biriani is delightful and we the people who appreciate it, know how much biriani matters in our life. There has never been a fight over peas paneer, but there are fights over biriani. There can be a stampede over biriani.
The que that we see before dada-boudi biriani shop, and the disappointment over biriani getting over can shoot the blood pressure of waiting customers.
So, the news regarding people leaving their partners, committing suicide or being killed over not being served non-vegetarian meal or for showing preference for non-vegetarian meal is not exaggerated. It is real. Food satisfies one bodily and mentally. All STRICT vegetarians and people dieting for weight management have very bad temper, have friction both in personal and public life.
Indians therefore particularly are prone to violence in some form or the other because of living a life sanctioned by religion. This will continue until they learn to weave reason in their lives.
Happy people are the ones who are well fed, and satiated with good food and good health. I am writing this while sipping a cup of blue tea.
