Why do you have to bother about what people don’t know about you?
People act according to circumstance and that’s what makes them a rounded person. This question actually haunts people who think that they are misunderstood. As people have a self image of themselves and they want to be understood accordingly, they are hurt when they are not taken for what they want to convey. The ultimate base of such thinking is people is that there is a gap in communication and response one seeks. People want to be respected, understood and cared.
Another reason could be that one has a darker side, a hidden side which is not good, contrary to what he poses to be. It knaws him within and he wants to let it out anonymously or personally to whom he or she can confide.
