The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) tests the candidates on skills such as English language, Mathematics, Logical Reasoning, and Current Affairs. These areas require practice over a period of one year.
For people who read a lot of books and newspapers and are good in maths and reasoning will really not need the training provided by coaching centres.
You should ideally start practicing by reading any popular competitive examination book like Banking exam or Staff Selection Commission exam, State Civil Services exam etc.
You can also read books published by Universal etc. Those books give you a detailed picture of the exam and once you understand the structure or pattern you know what to expect in the examination.
At first, take only one Publisher’s book and if you are a fast learner, you may finish one before the exams, and then take up another popular publisher’ book and practice.
The key to crack CUET is practice. Enjoy reading and practicing so that you can memorise easily. Do whatever helps you in remembering or memorizing content.
This examination really do not test your subject knowledge as such. It tests your overall aptitude for employability or ability to go through the rigours of a bachelor’s course.
