
We had a lot of peas in the freezer. So it was time to cook some delicacy.
Procedure:
Take the peas from the freezer and leave it in a bowl to thaw. Cut the paneer or cottage cheese into pieces and soak in water for some time and then remove those from water.
Take a large onion, two dry kashmiri red chillies, few pods of garlic, an inch of ginger, and whole jeera, dhania and a small cinnamon piece and two cloves. Make a paste in the blender.
Heat oil in a pan and fry the mixture. Then add the peas. When oil separates add the paneer pieces and cook until the paneer pieces have turned slightly brown.
Then add water, turneric salt, red chilli powder, and any curry powder. Cover and cook. When almost done, add a bit of aamchur powder, and cook for few 5 minutes. Switch off the gas and let it rest for atleast half an hour.
Spicy curries taste good when cooled down. Before serving add fresh coriander leaves.
