Sarso ka saag and Bajre ki roti

This is another winter delicacy.
The corn bread is made just as roti is made but making the bread is a challenge. We did not roll it because it is not possible if you don’t mix it with wheat flour.
We made the corn dough as usual but we formed the bread with our hands. You need to cook for a longer time than a normal roti or chapati. We added ghee on top after the bread was cooked to keep it soft.
Sarso ka Saag or Mustard greens:
This is challenging:
a. First clean the leaves, drain water and then chop it.
b. We also added methi and palak leaves. We washed and dried them separately and chopped them.
d. We mixed all the chopped leaves.
e. We added oil in kadai. Then added garlic and ginger. Then we added the leaves. Then we added turmeric, coriander powder, red chilli powder, Cummins powder and salt.
f. Cover cook. Stir occasionally so that the oil doesn’t stick to the bottom.
g. The quantity wil reduce, oil separates. It’s done.
