
Mutton is tasty and good for health. But nothing should be beyond a limit. We tried hotel style mutton curry. Mutton smells a bit so it needs a lot of spices.

We used onion, garlic, whole garam masala, coconut powder, bay leaf, tomato puree and cook this spice mixture first in ghee. Then add mustard oil and add the mutton pieces. Keep stirring and when the spice separates from the oil.
Add a bit of water and use powdered spices of any type. We have our home made spices such as dhania-jeera-badi elaichi, ginger powder, salt, turmeric, black pepper powder and kasuri methi and cook until the mutton is mixed with the spices.
Add water and cook for an hour until the gravy thickens. Finally serve hot.
