Sweet suji or rawa halwa is very popular in West Bengal. The salty suji is perhaps an imported recipe from Orissa or Andhra.

Roast the suji and keep it aside.
Fry the dry fruits and groundnuts in ghee first and set it aside.
Add jeera to the remaining ghee in the pan
Next fry the veggies – onion, green chillies and tomato
Then add the roasted suji
Then add water
Cover and cook
Before serving add dry fruits, kishmish and peanuts
