This is basically aloo with curd. Now when you have a lot of unused curd that has or going to turn sour, this is the recipe to make.

Boil the aloo/potatoes. You can choose the small potatoes. Fry them in the oil. Then add finely chopped onion, garlic and ginger. Then add other spices like red chilly (whole) turmeric, jeera-dhania powder, and salt. Don’t let the mixture burn. Add little water to cook the spices.

Once you get the aroma of the spices, add beaten curd mixed with one or two spoons of besan. Lower the heat and cook for 20 minutes. Add green chillies towards the end to make the dish look good.

Seasoning

You can also try to season it at the end by taking a tawa and adding oil to it. Then, add curry leaves, coriander-cumin and methi seeds. Add asafoetida and let the seeds splutter. Then add the mixture to the dish and mix it well.
