Who are the biggest influences in your life?

For most of us our mothers are best influencers in our lives. In India, particularly in the scheduled caste families there was no practice of dowry. So, our mothers are mostly women who built homes from scratch. Starting a family with minimum resource and then rearing the kids and helping them in this journey of life is amazing. They have minimum education but they did not allow that to be their hurdle.

They have a limited group of friends whom they miss quite early in life due to disease and illness. A majority of them don’t go beyond 60s. With medicines and accessible treatment in cities their life span has increased to some extent.

Their passing away also shrinks family network.
